Clear Creek (MS) offers a scenic and tranquil camping experience with opportunities for fishing, hiking, and outdoor activities. While some facilities were noted as being in disrepair and minimal staffing was a concern, many guests appreciated the clean showers, friendly fellow campers, and the park's ongoing improvements. The campground's natural beauty and secluded atmosphere make it a potential choice for those seeking a quieter, more primitive camping experience.

Great site: quiet, view, foliage, lake access. Close by bike/hike trails. Great showers. very reasonable price. Please don't close this park.

Park is in bad shape. No one to contact though we arrived about 4 pm. Our site was unusable, and thankfully the park was nearly empty. With no one to contact (reservation.gov had a number that, as usual, nobody answered) we found a workable site and took the chance that no one would arrive with a reservation.

I've seen the negative reviews on this campsite and I wanted to review it to give an update. I'll explain why I gave it a 5-star rating. We were there this past weekend, 10/31/20. First, the grass had been recently cut and the campgrounds looked nice overall. The front side of the campground is still closed as well as the bathhouses. There's one bathhouse open on the back side and it was well heated (it was a rather chilly weekend) and clean. The showers were clean as well. I didn't see any millipedes! Obviously that problem has been eradicated. The back 15 or so campsites are open and our site (Site 29) was great. No issues at all with hookups. Our picnic table and grill were clean and the site was clean. The sites are more private with a beautiful wooded backdrop and are within a short walk to Sardis Lake. This campground is secluded and very quiet. If that's your thing, you will love it here! It's off to itself, about 20-25 minutes from the nearest town. I like quiet and I like being in nature and everything was clean and nice for my liking. That's why I gave it a 5-star rating. I hope this helps!
