What Guests Are Saying
Clear Creek (MS) offers a scenic and tranquil camping experience with opportunities for fishing, hiking, and outdoor activities. While some facilities were noted as being in disrepair and minimal staffing was a concern, many guests appreciated the clean showers, friendly fellow campers, and the park's ongoing improvements. The campground's natural beauty and secluded atmosphere make it a potential choice for those seeking a quieter, more primitive camping experience.

By far the worst experience camping in my life. When we arrived at our site the power amp was broke. We spent an hour and a half trying to reach somebody, anybody and finally through a chat to call a local number which we did. Left a message but no call back at all. We moved sites and set up again to just keep throwing breakers. Bathrooms were filthy and was a terrible run down campground . I will never be back and should receive a refund for this joke of a campground.

We did not stay at the campground. Terrible condition. Reservations should not be accepted at all.

Stayed for seven nights, several other campers came and went but everyone was friendly. park ranger or local police would cruise thru at least once a day. park is looking better all the time , grass was cut and bathrooms were clean, park host is a local and stays in a tent on the handicap site closer to the entrance and also during the day is in the check in building at the entrance, most of the campground is still shut down but it looks like they have been clearing trees and working on the other sites. phone reception is okay but not great, not that I really want my phone while I'm camping anyway. not much in the way of stores or anything like that close by but Oxford is not far away. This is not a KOA or a well-known tourist campground it is a secluded and quiet place almost primitive camping with facilities no playground on site if you have kids but you can make your way down a trail by the furthest campsite down to the lake and hang out at your own private beach, the trail is not maintained so its steep you may need to stop and break a few times on your way back up. there is also a well-known mountain bike course within biking distance of the park if you get adventurous, they also have a boat launch and a swimming area right down the road from the park.
