Paradise Ranch and Resort

I love this place. The staff is always so friendly. There is still a lot of rebuilding to do after the tornado, but it's still beautiful. The staff make every stay worth it. We go every year, the weekend before Christmas and there is always so much for the kids to do. And I love that they put money back into the campground. Everyone loves this place and it shows.

Rented a cabin this week(4/12-4/16.) my family stayed here back in August and loved it. This week the pool was closed and had pine straw all in. That also meant the zip line was closed. Parts of the camo were unreachable bc the bridges were closed due to missing boards. You couldn’t fish bc the waters were full of weeds and slime. The entire place was under construction. The only thing we could do was ride the golf cart. Absolutely nothing for our 6 year old to do. We were unable to get our money back. We still left 2 days early to come home and spend the rest of spring break around our own pool.

Also, the young teen workers were no help.

Great place for family fun, this is our second time staying. A lil different look after the tornado went through but looks great and will shape right back up in no time. Nice cabins. Kids really enjoy the pool. We will be back hopefully next summer again.

Our camping group has been going to this campground for at least 8 years for the same weekend every year (middle of June, usually Father's Day weekend). It was our favorite campground. We have at least 10 campers that camp with us. For Father's Day week/weekend 2026, we had 13. Last year we gave them a pass because they had just reopened a few weeks prior. This was our worst experience here. Pool was GREEN and filled flying ants that bite. They closed it for an entire day and added chemicals, but that did absolutely nothing to resolve. Tried to say that the rain was the problem. It only rained one day out of the five we were there. It rains almost every day in the summer, yet we have never been there with a green pool. They obviously need to hire an actual pool service company as other "resort " parks have. No one coming around skimming until after I called to complain. Zipline was also closed the entire time we were there. Although they allowed people to swim in the green pool, they said the middle of the pool where the zip line drops, was not clean enough to be in..please explain that. The bathrooms by the pool were not clean. Deer were hard to find. They had a few skittish does and two bucks that everyone was feeding because there were no others. The only shaded spots left are around the lagoon. Now, if you book online, they also charge you the entire payment at booking, not half down as in past years and listed on their website. When I called to question why all of our group was being charged the full amount for our trip a year away, I was told that unless you call them or book in person, full payment is required at time of booking. Now that they are charging resort park pricing at $100 a night (even on a sunday), I expect to be able to swim in a clean pool and enjoy all the amenities that they advertise.
They need to do better or they will lose loyal customers like our camping group. Only positive was cafe. Food and service were good. We may not return unless we see some real changes happening.

Meh... Definitely not a paradise.
They have a lot of work to do to the property.
They need to put up fences around certain areas (septic pond).
The duck pond is so gross and stagnant! Some of the ducks had skin diseases from all the bacteria in the pond. Definitely wouldn't let my children eat any fish from there.
The pool is very nice on another note though.
Very clean water and wasn't too hot.
Nighttime entertainment was nice.
Bar and grill was nice.
Water ballon station was cool. Kids really liked that.
