Been coming here all my life. Only disappointment is the channel the river cut and not being allowed to park at the upper part.

We had to fill up our water tank because the water was leaking so bad from the connection because it needs to be replaced and then we had to listen to our water pump every time we use the water very annoying

We come every year and the only thing I can say is the person or persons cleaning the bathhouses and bathrooms needs to spend some more time and really give them a scrubbing. Cobwebs and bugs are everywhere. The showers need hosed out at least twice a week and the strainers on the drains need cleaned off. This is an on going problem I see year after year. I think this job is bidded on yearly but there needs to be some guidelines for them to adhere to.

Nice campground. Bathrooms could be cleaner and hot water more consistent.

Campground host did a great job getting us situated in the K loop because the electric pedestal was too far away in B loop. Nice clean facilities and well maintained sites

This campground is located in the backhills of Missouri and no restaurants and stores very close. Must see activities is to walk to the Black River from the campground. Also available across the bridge is Jeff's Canoe rental shop to rent Kayaks, canoes and etc. Very clear water and nice to take your lawn chair and sit in the water in the Black River with your feet in water and watch kayaks come down the river. Short walk from the campground. No wood purchases is available at the campground so bring your own wood. Gate Attendant never came by or was available at the little office. No help there. No phone service or internet is available in the area so take your Starlink.
