If it wasn't for the black river, there really wouldn't be a reason to camp here. There isn't any cell service nor TV sevice and only 2 radio stations, but man when it's 100 degrees outside....that river is great. Plus we were the only ones at the campground (100 degrees).

From Annapolis, MO, follow MO Highway K west for 5 miles. The park will be on the left, and is on both sides of the bridge.

- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis outside of peak season.
Site capacity
- Each site can accommodate two camping units: either one wheeled unit and one tent, or two tents, with a maximum of 10 people.
Fires & fuel
- Restrictions on firewood are in place to prevent invasive pests and diseases.
- To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood from other locations.
Safety & rules
- Generators are not allowed to be used.
Vehicles & parking
- ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts cannot be operated in developed recreation areas.
