This is a wonderful, inexpensive campground, right on the beautiful Black River! There is also a great canoe outfitter with a store right at the entrance! They have decent showers with hot water and a nice pavilion that you can rent by the day.

  • Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis outside of peak season.

Site capacity

  • Each site can accommodate two camping units: either one wheeled unit and one tent, or two tents, with a maximum of 10 people.

Fires & fuel

  • Restrictions on firewood are in place to prevent invasive pests and diseases.
  • To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood from other locations.

Safety & rules

  • Generators are not allowed to be used.

Vehicles & parking

  • ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts cannot be operated in developed recreation areas.
