Our favorite campground, but you probably won’t like it. Sites are too clean and spaced out. Restrooms are the best we’ve ever seen, but we’ve only seen maybe 30 Corps campgrounds so don’t go by what I say. Most of the outer ring campsites are too close to the water so we never get any exercise walking to the lake.

Park was great, beautiful setting, clean. Stayed 3 days two nights. The experience would have been excellent if it were easier to get registered on the recreation.gov website. It was very frustrating experience, The registration interface design is terrible!! After 1.5 hours and some help from the park attendant, we managed to register for a site.

We had a great time, attendants were the best, our only negative was the bathhouse was undergoing construction which in itself was not an issue but noise and drive arounds were at times irritating.

We had a nice time there. The weather was good and it was quiet. The restrooms are always clean and the workers are friendly.
