Site was excellent. However, they could have mowed around shower house since had to walk around the road or go thru high grass. Also an ice machine would be excellent.

We are so excited every year for our stay at Old Highway 86 camp ground the booth people are amazing and the husband and wife team who keep the shower house and all the bathrooms clean go above and beyond to maintain all the bathroom facilities in immaculate condition and before you think that is and over statement our family have been camping in this camp ground for over 50 years and the couple who are cleaning there now are the above and beyond cleaners. They are very considerate, CARING, and always go above and beyond!! So Blessed to have them with us there. Her name is Bobbi and her husband works with her!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!!

We have been coming to this campground for over 30 years. We love this campground! I'm only giving 4 stars for this trip, because the grass was too tall this time.

We enjoyed our stay. The camp hosts were very friendly. A laundry facility added to the campground would be fantastic, but laundromats can be found in the nearby town. The grass definitely could have been mowed, but the lake views were amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

The grass and weeds are over taking the picnic table gravel pads. Looks bad. The gravel in the pads are getting crushed to powder and more like dust. The restrooms are always very clean.

We have been coming here for years. Love camping at Old Hwy 86. Bathrooms and sites are very clean. A few things are starting to slip at the campground. The last couple of years they aren’t mowing the grass as often. When we got there you could bale the grass it was so high. They did mow it after a few days. Also they are allowing multiple boats and extra trailers to be parked in the grass at the campsites. Now all you see when walking around or at your campsites is everyone’s big boats and trailers parked everywhere. Hopefully the park host or park rangers will start managing this campground again to bring it back to its prior greatness.

The grass and weeds are very high. Plan accordingly. The grass areas are super tall throughout the campground. Nice views though.
