Nice campground, very shady. Some sites don’t have water. Nice park hosts.

The campsite was very nice. Our neighbors were young and having a good time but remained respectful of their volume and did not disturb us any. The location is great, with beautiful views, and a great beach. Only reason for the 4 out 5 star rating is the restroom facilities are typical park quality. And I wish they offered a sewer connection at the campsites.

Site 24 was nice and clean, but grass was very tall in the park like it hadn't been cut in a month. I got about 20 chigger bites just walking my dogs over 2 days. The day we left the mowers were mowing. It was our first time in the newer section, but definitely our last. The biker bar across the street is very noisy.

The upkeep of the park could be better. We spent a week there and it wasn't until the day before or departure did the grass get mowed. We couldn't play the yard games we brought.

If Silver Dollar City is part of your stay, this park is very close. The beach area is very nice.

Loved it here! Perfect location to so much. RV Sites were large , shaded and nicely spaced out. I love Army Corp. Engineer RV locations and this was one of them.

Policies & Rules
General
- Office hours are between the hours of and , seven days a week. Camphost and or Rangers will issue campground hangtags after valid check-in. Please check-out on departure. If Camphost is not present, please drop pink tag off at the dropbox.
- ALL personal equipment (boats, trailers, personal supplies etc. ) must be stored at reserved campsites. No equipment shall be stored in boat ramp/day-use parking for overnight storage.
- All discounted passes (Golden Age, Senior Lifetime, Senior Annual, Access) must be physically present upon arrival. Fraudulant use of a Golden Age or Golden Access Passport (Printouts, photos ect.) is prohibited and will not be discounted.
- Large rigs may have trouble navigating these campground roads.
- No off-road vehicles permitted
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must deposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Failure to pay day use fees, and or properly display applicable receipt, permit or pass is prohibited.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- Please be advised that providing business services within a USACE campground is prohibited per Title 327.18(a) The engaging in or solicitation of business on project lands or waters without the express written permission of the District Commander is prohibited. This includes services such as RV or tent delivery & set-up, firewood sales and delivery.
- For group shelter reservations, only the reservation holder will receive a pink tag. All other guests must obtain a valid recreational use pass such as a day use pass from the kiosk at the entrance.
