After answering the normal questions online while making our reservation (Camper size; electric/water needs; etc), we felt confident that Site #46 would be great. When we arrived the Attendant looked at our camper (24 ft. Surveyor Legend) and shook his head about us fitting in the site. We asked if here was something else available, and of course, there wasn’t. First, while there was electricity, there was no water at the site. This meant pulling around the park to find a potable water source. Then, back to our site to attempt backing in. The one lane drive was a steep hill. The site approach was 90 degrees to the road with ditches and trees on all sides. We tried several times, finally enlisting the help of a fellow camper for help. After many more attempts, we finally were able to back in, but unable to straighten without pulling into trees or going into a ditch. We were unable to open our awning or even lower our steps without digging a hole in the dirt for the steps to go into. Since we were scheduled to be there for ten days, we already anticipated we would be making a trip to the dump station during our stay. During the first two days, the campground filled up. The sites in the area were ridiculously tight, with vehicles hanging out into the one-way lane.
When the day arrived for us to dump, we waited until most campers were away for the day. Pulling out was possible because the camper’s truck across from us was gone for the day. Coming back we again had to find water and many vehicles had to be moved so we could get to the source. We pulled up the steep hill acces to our site and began the backing process again, this time with a pop up camper at our left front. After 30 min. of trying to back in without hitting trees, going into a ditch or hitting site marking steel posts while negotiating the driveway and hill, a professional driver/camper saw the dilemma. He inched our rig into the site for us.Never again

Great campground but cell service was almost non-existent. I must be able to work online so I can only return on the occasional weekend, but the location is wonderful - close to Branson, tasty restaurants in walking distance.

Had a great time. Great campsite, remote from neighbors. Very quiet except for the last weekend (Memorial Day) when someone in the marina decided the ENTIRE campground needed to listen to their crappy music for almost an hour. Honestly, we couldn't even hear ourselves talk to eachother. I'm not sure whether the park rangers have jurisdiction to shut something like that down, or if the Marina is separately controlled. But no one was doing anything about it. Otherwise, stay was great, restrooms and showers well maintained and volunteer staff was very friendly. There was an issue with another group earlier in the week, and the rangers were on it, and they behaved the rest of the time. I love this campground, and we stay there whenever we can. I highly recommend it as one of, if not the best, campground in the Branson area.

Campsites and campground is peaceful. The RV dumpstation was on so much of a down slope that made it impossible to drain even half of the holding tanks. Had to take to another place to empty tanks. I would have rated 4 stars if the dump station was set up more adequately.

Great location. It was full of RV's and most people were very quiet and friendly. The spot i choose had only two places to put my tent that wasn't on a hill/incline. First it was by the fire and the other was right beside the table so it can be tight. Well shadded. Lots of loud music form the boats in the Marina at night. There were 4 unisex toilets with showers in them. They staff cleaned them daily but there was a lot of mould on the calls in the showers. and if you are over 5'5" you will need to bend down to wash your hair. Staff at the entry booth were great and always waved at the park rangers when they came passed. They checked in on us a lot which was good to see. The little beach was nice.
