Indian Point is a shady, roomy camping area. We selected a site with water and electricity. Unfortunately, no sites have sewer hookups, but there is a dump station. There were tent sites through large RV areas. The shower houses/ restrooms only have 4 stalls. Most of the time, this was not a problem. Plenty of hot water.

Site 27 is poorly planned. Very difficult to back a 5th wheel camper into it because site 26 uses the same space. It takes a skilled driver to back into site 27 when site 26 is occupied. I had to ask the driver in site 26 to move his truck when it was time to leave site 27. Won't make that mistake again. However, once we got set-up it was a pleasant place to camp.

This is a super nice campground but really needs some work. Our site was fairly level but the asphalt pad had a six inch or more drop off to the mostly rocky ground. This drop off was three feet from the end of our door steps.

Our family loved Indian Point! It was our first time. The sites were beautiful and we loved all the space. We got to explore and the kids really enjoyed the beach. The people who were there in charge of the grounds were so nice. We will most certainly come back!

That campsite was nice and quiet. On a different note I arrived a day early and called to see if my site was occupied. I was told it was empty but I couldn't set up on it I had to rent a different site for one night. Since my site was empty it would have been nice not to move

We loved staying at Indian Point, although our stay started out quite rough. Our campsite was occupied at the time of check in and had to be asked by park personnel to vacate three separate times. It took them an hour and a half to pack up all the tents and stuff. We waited at the restroom area for them to vacate. We had to rake up all the leftover trash and filled a trash bag with cigarette buts from the fireplace before we could cook. We also had to wash down the area because of the smell. Never have we experienced anything like this before at a recreation.gov campsite. After that first day, the rest of the camping was quite lovely and the restrooms were always clean. The camp hosts were very polite and helpful. We’ll be back again, and hopefully never behind those particular previous campers.
