Moonshine Beach Rec. Area

The Pavilion at Moonshine Beach is a nice venue to rent. We hosted my teenage daughter's birthday party there. We set up a volleyball net on the beach and brought a bunch of rafts. The kids had a great time! We used the electricity and the fireplace and they worked great. We did not use the grills. The major challenge we suffered was a large amount of bees, hornets and wasps that swarmed the food (even when covered). I recommend preparing food in advance and covering everything. I did get stung! Not sure what can be done about this. Moonshine Beach is quite a special location and despite all of the insects, the party was a success.

It was a beautiful spot. Loved the covered pavilion for comfort on a hot day. The only drawback was people that were not family kept trying to invade our reserved space. Not all of the reserved signs were able to be strung across the entrances because it was missing carabiners. We had a family reunion with 35 people so we needed all of the space. The restrooms were handy right next to the pavilion. Also handy was children's play equipment. I suggest a sign near the slides that would warn the surfaces could be hot. Several children got burned body parts sliding down in only swimsuits. It was heartbreaking to hear their screams due to the hot surfaces.

It was great that with a national park pass we did not need to pay for parking.

Had a good time here. Water was nice... large swim area, plenty of space. We did notice that the lot was full when we left so you likely want to get there early on hot summer weekends.

The rental was great. It was an amazing space for a large group.

We rented the Pavilion for our family reunion day at the beach. We had 35 people ages 2 months to 67 years old, and it was perfect for our group, and we only used about 1/2 of the tables. Plenty of picnic tables for us to eat lunch together in the shade, and gather for snacks and a break from the water, sand, and sunshine. BBQ grills at the Pavilion were big, so it was easy to grill hot dogs and polish dogs for our group. Would rent the Pavilion again!

Nice sand, walking area, play area, covers for groups, bathrooms, showers, grills, pavillions, and only 5 dollars for the day. I hear it is crowded in summer, but not today. Water is cool and clear. May not take cash on weekend. We had to pay credit card.

Moonshine Beach is one of the most popular swimming spots in the Branson area and the only public sandy beach on Table Rock Lake. It offers clear water, a designated swimming area, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and a boat ramp, making it very family-friendly.

I totally forgot this place was a lake. Looks JUST like an actual beach! We had such a great time. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're visiting the Ozarks and want to go to the beach but don't feel like traveling atleast 500 mi to get to one. It also has several picnic tables with grills and even a playground!

It looks like it’s a blast when it’s busy but it was the cold season I guess when we went it was completely empty which was a bit creepy in a sense but still pretty I’ve never seen a beach deserted before lol it kind of was messing with my mind haha but wow look at that amazing sunset 🌅

Rented the pavilion for a large party. It worked out great. There are about 12 tables, two large grills, and bathrooms nearby.
