Beautiful, remote, peaceful. Ginormous campsites. Nearly all with lake shore. Fishing was good. Great spot for individuals or large families and everything in between. It was my first visit, but I will be going back (with my kayak)!

As usual, my stay was very pleasant and mostly quiet.
I have been going to loggers lake for about 60 years, it is definitely a Jewel.

What I can't understand is why there are obnoxious buoys in front of the spillway that has most of the time have a ½ inch of water running over it. I can't wash down that if I wanted to.

First I thought was the best way I can spend MY money, like the roads, the wooden parking stops, replacing the dock along with cleaning up the swimming area, and maybe the water supply faucets.

Thank you,
Happy Camper

The solitude during the week was amazing. The night sky is incredible. The path around the lake was not maintained at all, restrooms were fine. Biting flies and stinging bees were the order of the day. While talking to the locals, I learned they're apparently worse this year than normal.

I've been to this site many times, and it has always been a great adventure. This trip was very fun, but I think maybe there isn't anyone watching this site anymore? This trip a family that brought their camper thought running a generator 24 hours a day was no problem at all. When we used to go more often the gentleman taking care of the place would have made him turn it off at 9. I don't know if that's an actual rule, or he made his own rules for those of us that came to enjoy nature, but if no one is going to handle this situation it would be nice to be able to point to a sign that says turn off generators at this time. There's no service there, so we couldn't log in somewhere and check, so we just tried to ignore it while we slept.
