Love's RV Hookup-Cameron MO 837

This was our first time at a Love’s RV Hookup stop. All the hookups worked great.
There are very bright LED lights above two of the sites. Although we appreciate having the lights it looked like the sun was shining in the bedroom windows even with the evening shades pulled.
I agree with Jeffery about the check in process. I also went to the hut to check in and no one answered the call box. When I went inside the guy was able to check us in quickly after I waited in line at the cash register.
Not sure if other Love’s have pull through spots. We would have appreciated that since we are in a motorhome towing a car. We knew this was a back in spot so we were prepared.
Thank you Love’s for providing a place to stay overnight with hookups after a long day of travel.

We're glad to see Love's offer this kind of RV spot as an overnight option. The pads were large with plenty of room and the utilities were in working order. The check-in process needs work. The arrival email said to check-in online but there was no option to do that. There was a check-in hut outside that had an intercom but no one answered it. The third time was a charm - to go inside Love's. Site #6 was not level back to front. Our levelers brought our front wheels off the ground to get level. The closer you get to site #1, the more level it seems to be. I don't think that this is $48 in value but we would stay here again.

First time at rv hookups. Easy access, great customer support. A bit road noise but not bad. With full hook up you get free showers. Nice, clean and roomy. Better than our small class c shower. We loved it so much we’re stay at another towards our destination.

Loves RV stops are a great overnight stopover for all types of RV's. Not all of the Love's stops are full hookup as I stayed at one near Kimball South Dakota that was electric only. My only complaint there was they still charge a full hookup price plus more when I stayed there because it was Sturgess bike week. The one I stayed at near Cameron; Missouri last night was full hookup. I am fully contained, and it was a one nighter so I only used electric. We had our dog with us and the very nice dog run was not stocked with poop bags. Completely out. Luckily, I always have one or two tied to my pet's leash. Most RV stops have showers for guests and Love's is no exception. Just go in and say you are an RV guest and want to take a shower and they will print you out a ticket for a very spacious and spotlessly clean shower room with a clean bath towel and cotton floor mat. I spoke to the young man who cleans the room at Cameron RV stop and thanked him for doing a great job. My daughter was couscous when I told her she could shower there but came back to our rig with a great report. She said they were as nice as I told her and bigger than she thought. Need I say she was impressed. Keep up the good work. You can also get 10 cents off a gallon of gas using the Love's app. It turns the pump back 10 cents. Be careful though because not all the scanners work, and you may have to go to a different pump. It happened to me in Cameron and other Love's stops.

We parked in site 6 for an overnight stay. Water was working fine but sewer hookup was uphill. We had to back up onto the grass to get enough elevation to dump tanks.
Very easy in and out right off the freeway.
A little too well lit for us, bright light through our skylights and door panel.
Truck traffic lightened into the night, wasn’t really bothersome.
