We were disappointed that the grounds were not mowed as they had been in past years. It was high and not mowed until the day before we left. In the past, grass was kept short.

We enjoyed our stay, however a few weeks before we were to visit we were notified that we wouldn't have sewer available at our site. That posed a problem of having to watch our water use. We did receive a $2 a night refund but would rather have had access to sewer. Also the grass around the campsites was very tall.
The camp host as well as the park rangers were very friendly!

Amazing property. Very clean and accommodating. Spacious, level sites and tons of trees to keep you secluded. Have been here twice this summer and intend on going once more before the end of the year. My new favorite campground!

While camping at Big M, we experienced a power outage. It was hot, the RV got hot very quickly. We were also having a thermostat problem so it took a long time to cool down again. The restroom had no vent fan and it was too hot inside to use. Due to the problems, We decided to cut the trip short and went home after two days instead of the original five days as originally planned.

Very nice site. Lots of nice, flat, level space as well as a small tent pad for pitching tents. The shade is great with lots of trees for hammocks! It’s not too far of a drive to a nice swim beach. The roads within the area are narrow and speed limits are ignored. Otherwise it’s a great tent spot!

ALL personal equipment (boats, trailers, personal supplies etc. ) must be stored at reserved campsites. No equipment shall be stored in boat ramp/day-use parking for overnight storage. |

Office hours are between the hours of 8:00 a.m-10:00a.m. and from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m, seven days a week. Camphost and or Rangers will issue campground hangtags after valid check-in. Please check-out on departure. If Camphost is not present, please drop pink tag off at the dropbox. |

All checkout times are at 3:00 p.m. All RV's, vehicles, and supplies still on site after 3:00 p.m may be subjected to impoundment our towed at the owners expense. |

All discounted passes (Golden Age, Senior Lifetime, Senior Annual, Access) must be physically present upon arrival. Fraudulant use of a Golden Age or Golden Access Passport (Printouts, photos ect.) is prohibited and will not be discounted. |

This includes services such as RV or tent delivery & set-up, firewood sales and delivery. |

Failure to pay day use fees, and or properly display applicable receipt, permit or pass is prohibited. All day use and USACE Annual passes may be purchased at the kiosk next to the booth. |
