It had been years since I had camped. I was thinking of selling my camper. And my doctor had just diagnosed me with high blood pressure. I spent four nights at big M, four wonderful peaceful nights with amazing camp hosts, great swimming, nice walks, occasional deer sightings, and kind peaceful neighbors. My blood pressure is back to normal and I plan to go back in a month. What a wonderful place big M is.!

This is a beautiful campground!
The camp hosts, Toi and Jamie are magnificent! They are very welcoming, attentive and thorough in your interactions with them. When we required an extension on our reservation, Toi monitored the reservation system and let me know when there was availability so I could call the reservation system to secure the nights we needed. This was certainly above and beyond her duties but she willingly assisted in helping make our needs materialize. They clearly take their job seriously and are very respectful kind people.
Please extend the September 15th close date at this facility. The weather there here is more than sufficient to camp through October 31 to enjoy the fall colors and cool nights. The campground could certainly function with paying on site and with monitoring by a ranger.

The hosts were awesome and very welcoming and helpful! My site was nice once I found it. There really needs to be improved signage with the site numbers on signs up where you can see them. Having the site numbers on dark rainy pavement is not very helpful and hard to see when driving by.

The people that run the front are absolutely AMAZING! They keep the park bathrooms very clean and tidy. I will say whoever oversees them and the actual property should have cancelled this site along with our other reservation that was cancelled due to flooding. This experience at the site was less than fun. No space to camp or even have fun with children. Usually this site is amazing and can be enjoyed that's why we come back every year! Just for future events that may cause another cancellation of this site, assessing the situation more than you did, would be highly suggested. Thank you for taking care of the issue and being prompt about reaching out after our stay.

Campground, spots, and hosts were great. Facilities were nice. Water was way up and the day use/swimming area/boat ramp were closed. Army Corps needs to run the dam!

ALL personal equipment (boats, trailers, personal supplies etc. ) must be stored at reserved campsites. No equipment shall be stored in boat ramp/day-use parking for overnight storage. |

Office hours are between the hours of 8:00 a.m-10:00a.m. and from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m, seven days a week. Camphost and or Rangers will issue campground hangtags after valid check-in. Please check-out on departure. If Camphost is not present, please drop pink tag off at the dropbox. |

All checkout times are at 3:00 p.m. All RV's, vehicles, and supplies still on site after 3:00 p.m may be subjected to impoundment our towed at the owners expense. |

All discounted passes (Golden Age, Senior Lifetime, Senior Annual, Access) must be physically present upon arrival. Fraudulant use of a Golden Age or Golden Access Passport (Printouts, photos ect.) is prohibited and will not be discounted. |

Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must deposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands. |

Please be advised that providing business services within a USACE campground is prohibited per Title 327.18(a) The engaging in or solicitation of business on project lands or waters without the express written permission of the District Commander is prohibited. This includes services such as RV or tent delivery & set-up, firewood sales and delivery. |

Failure to pay day use fees, and or properly display applicable receipt, permit or pass is prohibited. All day use and USACE Annual passes may be purchased at the kiosk next to the booth. |
