What Guests Are Saying
Round Spring campground receives praise for its friendly and accommodating host, clean facilities, and great river access. Many guests enjoyed the well-maintained restrooms and showers, as well as the evening ranger programs. However, some noted noise from neighboring campsites and construction disruptions, which affected their experience. Overall, the campground is recommended for its beautiful location and amenities, despite minor issues.

The critters are crafty so put your food and trash away before bed.

Was a nice campground, river was just down the hill. Camp host was only there on weekends. We had site E-5 water and electric. Site was a little small, yard wise. The site pad was mostly level , no cell service, to TV channels. We had a camper with our own restroom, we did not use theirs, so I can't comment on them. We did look at the showers and they look very clean and roomy. We stayed from a Sunday to Friday so it wasn't very busy.

I have been camping at round springs for over 40 years. First with my brothers in college then with my wife and family and now my wife and I head down once or twice a year. It is an absolutely beautiful area and we thoroughly enjoy it. The campground is a little dated but overall it is maintained well. The bathrooms and showers are fairly new and clean and maintained. I would love to see more electric and water hook ups at places in addition to the existing area which is centralized and in the middle of a large asphalt area. We will continue to visit round springs and float the current as long as we are able.

Campsite was very nice. Far from the restroom and the other campsites. Far enough that the loud music and loud voices are not as annoying. I do not understand why the price per night has been raised to $140. Considering small restroom, cold showers and we were told that the beach is now a boat launch and cannot be used.

This is a good clean camp. This was our second time camping here. We had 3 days of great floats on the current. Love the Dairy shack in Eminence. Kids and grandkids have a blast! Bring the bikes!

This campground is very well-maintained and a favorite of ours. I would compare the bathrooms to the quality of the ones at Echo Bluff (the bathrooms next to the walk-in camping- NOT the lodge). The campground is right off the current river, so even after a long day of floating, the walk back to your campsite isn't super painful. The camp host is also very friendly, and we really enjoyed the show at the amphitheater! We have stayed at this location multiple times, and will continue to do so.

The campsite was awesome. The neighbors/group in Group Site 2 were awful. Or at least a few were. F this and F that and F you till 3 AM in the morning - yelling and screaming. Any chance that at the restrooms a button could be installed to call the Rangers for help? They have them at all the campuses now. Where you can hit a button. Cell phones don't work or we would have called. We didn't want to go to the campsite because we heard a women say something like - go ahead and get your gun. We didn't want to leave the kids, we weren't exactly sure where we needed to go to get a Ranger. Other then that little incident - the rest of the weekend went fine. I also found a Copperhead on my way to the rest rooms near the path around 10 PM Friday night. My husband and college age daughter and her boyfriend removed it to across the highway, they also found 3 more on the South side of the restrooms in the grass Friday night. They were also removed. Two were 2 1/2 footers.

Love this campground. Always clean and quiet; lots of shaded and sunny sites. Friendly staff and love the ranger talks at the amphitheater.
