What Guests Are Saying

The location was nice and conveniently close to water, making for a pleasant day overall. However, there were issues with cleanliness upon arrival, and the management's response to a wasp problem was lacking, as no follow-up occurred after the initial contact. It's important to note that this area is actually a day-use location rather than a campground, which may lead to some confusion.

Nice, relaxing area for swimming and picnicking. Boat ramp is in great shape as well. There is an erosion problem at the picnic/swim beach area that needs to be taken care of. Very rough to bring things down to tables/beach and can be difficult. Would go back without hesitation.

Was a nice location and close to water. I did get ahold of the main office to see if they could get someone out to the shelter to get rid of the wasps. They said they would and they would call me back. Never received a phone call. When we arrived day of rental had to clean up the entire area cause it was trashed and then we had to bring our own wasp spray and spray all the wasps and nests. The only reasons wasps were an issue is my husband and child are extremely allergic to them. But Besides all the mess up and bad it was a pretty good day after all the cleanup.
