What Guests Are Saying
River Run Park offers clean, level blacktopped spaces with individual water and electric hookups, along with beautiful views of the Arkansas River and a peaceful setting for walks. The friendly park host and ranger enhance the experience, making visitors feel welcome. While improvements are needed for the restrooms and picnic tables, the park is ideal for biking and has a tranquil atmosphere, particularly for those looking to relax near Branson.

The spaces are blacktopped and very level. Each space has their own water hook up and electric pole that looks new. The park is very clean and has trees for shade. We love looking at the dam and lock with the barrage going through on the Arkansas river. We will be back.

The park host came by shortly after we arrived. The Ranger also came by the next morning. We were impressed with the host and Ranger, especially because the host is not located in the park. Both were very nice. The setting is great! We enjoyed our morning walks near the lake. The park is located in the quaint fishing community of Forsyth, just a few minutes from Branson.

Beautiful park. It is the best one for bike riding. But the restrooms/showers need some serious cleaning and up grades. Would also be helpful if there were tops on the picnic tables. It is such a shame that it gets flooded year after year. They need to lower the power pool back where it was and stop catering to Branson.

Very quiet park; just three of us there. Nice big site with a great view of the river and lake. Easy to get on and out of.

Very friendly park manager, right off the white river and close to Branson. Really enjoyed our time there.

This was my first time at this park. It was peaceful amd easy to access. The spot was level, however there is no shade. Spent 7 nights and lived it.

It was great. The only thing I would improve would be the showers.

This is a pretty, small park on the edge of Bull Shoals Lake. The manager is friendly, and keeps the park very clean and well-maintained. It is about 20-25 minutes from Branson proper, but Forsyth is only 3 minutes away, and has several grocery stores, fast food, gas, etc. The only design "flaw" for me is to put the showers in the individual bathroom lock-offs; makes the bathrooms very steamy (on top of summer humidity), and if the park was full, you might have an uncomfortable wait for a toilet. But, mid-week, not an issue. There's also a public boat-ramp on one side of the park, which is handy if you bring a boat. Small play-ground for the kids, and lots of opportunity to walk, or sit and watch the lake, or the wildlife. Saw 7 deer in the evening, and many geese. You can hear and see traffic on the road, but it's not intrusive in any way. Easy access, and an inexpensive get-away, while close enough to "town" to be convenient. Water and electric hookups at the LEVEL site, with a dump-station on-site. We will go again.

We have stayed at many AC COE campgrounds. This was by far the most disappointing. The restrooms had no ventilation, were clearly long out of date and otherwise an embarrassment. My wife and I did not bother to shower, but got up the next morning at 3:30 AM to get out! On the bright side, the grass is mowed
