Weeds going down to the water are horrible and there are too many dogs not on a leash!!! Two times now a large dog has run out at me!!!

Camp host was great. Bathroom and campsites where clean.
I do have one issue we camped at site 36 and the grass down to the water is five feet tall. That needs to cut down!!!

This was our first visit to Pomme de Terre Lake and we will be back ! Damsite Campground was an excellent choice for our 10 day visit. We stayed in the East Campground, sites 115-118, and found it to be perfect for our group of 5th wheel trailers. The sites were spacious, private, and provided an awesome view of the lake. The entire campground was well kept, clean, and the hosts were friendly & helpful. Limited amount of things to do (that are not lake related) but we did find a few collectible stores in Hermitage, as well as a Farmers Market on every Friday, just up the road. Judy's Ice Creamery & Grill close to the campground entrance was good, as was MeMaws Ice Cream Shop. Overall a great campground!

nice campground isolated from any freeway or city noises. Well kept and right on river/lake below damn that offered excellent fishing. Limited amenities but we loved it. Looked as if most spots were occupied by those fishing.

Nice quiet campground with many sites located directly on lakefront. Many sites have oversized pads to accommodate multiple vehicles or boat/trailer. Would like to see a vault toilet down near the point for better accessibility. The upper campground shower house was clean and offered multiple toilet & shower stalls, but it's a long walk for tent campers, or those who don't want to use too much water in their RV (since there is no sewer hookup).

Damsite is a wonderful clean and friendly camp ground. It has turned into the only place we want to camp at when we visit Pomme De Terre.
