We love this camping experience and come here several times a year. We go during the week and it’s quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. Check out the crappie hole for dinner. Great fish!

This time we camped at site 53. There was more shade in the morning than in the afternoon, but that was okay with us. We spent a lot of time down at the lake, swimming and enjoying the time with our grandkids. During the morning, there was an abundance of shade and cool breezes. However, in the mid-afternoon, we lost shade, but the view of the lake made it worth it. In the evening, the sun was setting, so we could see it. And the view and the color of the sky were amazing. Cannot wait to come back next year and maybe get into another site with more shade or even a site where we are right on the lake . No bad views from anywhere you camp here.

The only thing I would have negative to say was we did not see a camp host come around one time our entire stay. But the park was beautiful and well keeped. this was our second trip and we will be back next year.
