My wife and I spent four days here last week and really enjoyed the park under the new family's ownership. My wife had stayed under the prior establishment quite a few times and definitely noticed the improvements. They have invested a lot into beautifying the campground and making it a really great camping experience both for families and for empty nesters like us. You can tell that the new owners are really putting a lot of love, resources, and energy into this place. We'll definitely return often

We had a great time camping at Ozark Trails on Memorial Day weekend! The owners, Jacob, Morgan, Paul and Sandy are nice, friendly people. Very welcoming and accommodating to their guests. Their campground has excellent shower facilities, fully stocked camp store, plentiful firewood and fun activities for everyone to enjoy. We unexpectedly won the camper decorating contest! We really enjoyed visiting around the bonfire and learning about the great spots to explore in the area. I highly recommend Ozark Trails campground. We will definitely be back!

Our group had such a good time staying here! The staff is so kind and friendly and you can tell they are putting a lot of work in the campground constantly improving it.
There are activities that happen weekly, like trivia, axe throwing, and movie viewing. You can request movies and the movie area has a giant inflatable screen to feature the movies on. Be sure to check their Facebook to see their schedule for events.
They have a camp store, which is amazing for the convenience. At the store they have a Hunt Brothers Pizza which looked delicious. They also have home made baked goods, custard pints, and a beer cave to beat the heat. There is coffee, camping supplies and merch there (I got a hat because it looked so nice). Outside the shop there is a gas pump which is great.
On the left side of the shop is the bathrooms/showerhouse. They are nicely painted and cheerful. I really liked how the shower heads could change into a wand to clean any dirt and move it to the drain (hardly any campgrounds have it so I was happy). I also appreciated that there was a bar to put your foot higher to shave and the amount of hooks you could put your shower stuff on. The shower room having AC/fans was awesome because taking a shower can get really stuffy. The walk to the bathrooms is not terribly far but definitely wish could be closer, which I know from Jacob that there are plans for a new building for showering and bathrooms located closer on the camping side of the campground, yay!
There are a few downsides to this campground such as not having river access to walk to because you are higher up. But it at least also protects you from flooding. You can drive a few miles to get to other accesses which is good. Also because horses occasionally are brought to ride trails here the flies are pretty thick and can be annoying. Camp sites are pretty close but definitely not claustrophobic thankfully. This didn't detract from my experience being great.
Overall I really did enjoy my time here and wish the best for this campground to succeed. Definitely give this campground a try!

Tried this campground for the first time over the 4th of July weekend and they did a fantastic job hosting us. When a storm hit, they were there offering to help us with our awning. They had wonderful programming for the holiday. They played a family movie one evening, had a local band the next evening, and free waffles on Sunday morning. The facilities were clean, and the store was nicely stocked with necessities as well as some fishing gear. We rented from Jadwin Canoe and because of this Campgrounds close proximity to the canoe rental, Jadwin had a free shuttle service that picked us up right on our camp spot! This was very convenient and appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a campground that feels more like visiting family than renting a campsite, Ozark Trails Campground is it.
From the moment we checked in and were greeted with warm cookies, we knew this place was different. The owners and staff are some of the kindest people you’ll meet and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome.
What really sets this campground apart is the sense of community. They host bonfires, movie nights, game nights (we had so much fun playing LCR!), and one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had—Sunday morning puppy and cat yoga. Even the resident rooster made sure nobody overslept! 😂
The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to so many of the Current River’s best float trips and attractions like Pulltite, Cedar Grove, Devil’s Well, Welch Spring, and Flying W Bluff, making it the perfect home base for exploring the Ozarks.
This weekend was especially meaningful because I was able to revisit places I hadn’t seen in years. There was something incredibly comforting about being back in familiar territory, and ending each day at a campground that felt so welcoming made the experience even better.
We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you for your incredible hospitality and for creating a place where people don’t just camp—they make memories. ❤️🏕️
