Oh wow! Awesome. As of 10 Nov 2025, the Rest & Roll on RV area is still like new. Fenced-in, full hook-ups. Great for an overnight dump, refill, recharge. Right off the highway. Level, concrete pads. All 20 sites are pull-through which allowed us to stay connected to our towed vehicle. Easy unplug-n-go the next morning. Being the only RV here, I unleashed the dogs and ran them around the whole campground. Great way to prep them for a long ride. The convenience store/travel center is pretty good size with a large selection of travel stop goodies i.e. smoked brisket, ribs, salads, sandwiches, and more. All the usual suspects are here as well; burgers, dogs, taquitos. Wendy's and Subway are present in-store as well. Reminds me of a Buc-ees, but a bit smaller. Truckers get called over the intercom when it's their turn to shower.
Campground: We had the place to ourselves, and at $50/night + $4 tax, I can see why. Worth it for us though. We didn't have plans to sight-see anything around Mount Vernon this trip. En route to a destination, refilled our water tank while getting a quick prepared meal and a good night's sleep, the place is ideal for what we needed. Not a terrible business model either.. charge for the camp site, RV customer potentially eats 2 meals (evening and next morning), and they may spend a little more on trinkets, knick knacks, memorabilia and gadgets. Potentially $2K+ nightly during peak season when all 20 spots are full.
This is not for those looking to sit around a camp fire (unless you bring yours), swim in a pool, fish a pond, play in a playground, etc. None of that is available.

Great place to stay. Conveniently located off the highway and secured with fence. Very clean and full hookups for large rigs.

Biggest Dog Park ever! OK, maybe we were lucky being the only one there, but its fenced in and my dog had a great time, he's a small dog, you'll have to zoom in to see him. Other than that, like others have said, its great for a convenient overnight stop. I think I paid $50 for the night. Don't worry about trying to use the app, it didn't work for me, just go into the TA and they'll take care of you.

Perfect for what it is. Clean spacious sites in a fenced in area quiet, quick in and out. Filled up the truck at the adjoining TA and had a restful night and easy access back on the highway. If you’re looking for a campground with a pool and facilities this isn’t it but if you want an easy place to dump tanks, fill up the water, enjoy full hookups, this is perfect.
There was only one other RV the night we stayed. Sites will hold big rigs easily and spacious entrance/exit for no stres.
