We camped with friends at the back of the B Loop, B09, B10 and B12 in last April. These sites are nicely shaded and long for bigger RVs. The setting is beautiful although not on the water. The picnic tables are covered with an awning, which was an added amenity for us.
The only recommended upgrades we would suggest are adding sewer to this section. They are away from the lake and not prone to flooding like Loop A. It would make them perfect for longer stays.
Also consider paving the entire site, picnic area included, so the gravel is not washed into the road during heavy rain.
We would recommend this campground.

Very nice park. Caught some fish while we were there. Doesn’t have very good phone service. Nice paved sites. We were in site 9.

Getting There
The campground is located 7 mi northwest of Piedmont, MO. From Piedmont on Highway 49, go 1 mi to Highway AA and turn left. Drive 6 mi on Highway AA, and the road will end in Bluff View Park.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Campsites operate on a first-come, first-served basis during non-peak times.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site capacity
- Each site can accommodate two units—either one wheeled unit and one tent or two tents—with a maximum of 10 people.
Fires & fuel
- There are restrictions on firewood to protect against invasive pests and diseases.
- To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood.
Safety & rules
- Generators cannot be operated during specified hours (not provided).
Vehicles & parking
- The use of ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts is not allowed in developed recreation areas.
