What Guests Are Saying
Piedmont Park at Clearwater Lake is a well-maintained, beautiful campground offering stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the accommodating and friendly camp host and clean facilities, although some noted that the beach area and bathrooms could be improved. While the park lacks cell service and some sites may be challenging for larger rigs, overall, visitors enjoyed their stay and appreciated the scenic surroundings and ample shade.

We loved this campground! The sites were large and spaced out well. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. The addition of 2 playgrounds was great for our group as we had small children. I would recommend this campground to everyone!

This place is a hidden jewel. We have been here many times for a weekend getaway. They have very generous RV sites. We always take the site with a view of Clearwater lake. We hike at the near by Sam A Baker state Park and fish at the Black river below the Clearwater lake.

The sites are well-kept and spaced nicely. The view from my site through the fall foliage was gorgeous! The bathrooms were clean, but the showers have very poor water pressure. Overall, the park is gorgeous and well-maintained, and it is one of my favorite places to visit.

Very quite. We had an excellent view of Clear Water Lake. I wish all sights had water hook ups.

The park hasn't been maintained very well in the past few years. I ended up getting chiggers standing near the picnic table. The grass was almost knee high near the fire pit. I love camping but if I wanted to camp in tall grass I'd go elsewhere. I was camped on A 16 I noticed A 15 wasn't any better.

The weather was perfect for August. The view was beautiful from our site C13 but we probably won't be booking that site again because it is very awkward.

This was our first rv camping experience and first time at Clearwater Lake. It was absolutely wonderful. The entire campground, lake, and beach area were well kept and maintained. We had commented that there was little to no trash/liter anywhere to be seen. We enjoyed the lake and wildlife. We had a very peaceful and quiet time.
