Clean campground, quiet, quaint and overall a great place. I always come here to camp and wood recommend to everyone to give it a try. Great place to relax and unwind.

Our camp host, Sandy, was very accommodating. Our sight had been overtaken but the site next to us with many teucks and recreational vehicles. Rather than cause tension, Sandy moved us to a very nice site that had just opened up. Also, when we showered on the way out my wife left her FitBit on the window sill in the shower. I called Sandy and she was kind enough to retrieve the watch and place it in the mail.
Downside... on A loop where the swimming beach is located the only toilets near this busy area are open pit latrines with no running water. It was very hot and the latrines were horrid and full of flies. The other shower/bathroom facilities are rather nice though.

could not find original site closest one to it had too many steps for handicap people was able to move across street for better spot but didnot have water or sewer hookups

We enjoyed this campsite. Things that would have improved our stay,
Having water at the campsite, other campsites do have this feature
Once we were level , getting inside was not easy. It made the door very tall. Our elderly dog, who usually has no problem getting inside, could not get in or out without help.

Very clean, very nice park, only bad thing. We picked our spot out online , when we got to the spot was all on a hill, sleeping in a tent in hill ughhh! I wish it said the spot was in an incline. We stay on C 12 , The park is amazing clean We will visit again

Hard to back in for our 34 ft with the road curve and turns. Once in, it was picturesque and nice. Ground outside of the rv was limited for seating dogs..etc. Railing/fencing around site and drop off to road. Beach and lake view, pretty sunsets.

I was tent camping with two children and the storm started after midnight. There is no cell service at all at the campground and with no WiFi available. No way to check the weather. I think it’s a very scary situation when u cannot use your phone without having to drive all the way up to the dam to check the weather. It was one of the worse experiences of my life to be stuck in the middle of flash floods. I will not be returning to a campsite that does not offer some kind of internet.

Travel on Highway HH for 6 miles to the top of the dam. Turn right and
follow signs into campground.
Piedmont Park is accessible via Missouri State Highway HH, which connects to other local roads. No major interstates or highways are within 25 miles.

7.6 mi drive to downtown Piedmont (about 13 min)

- Site occupancy is limited to two camping units. One wheeled unit and one tent. Or the site may have two tents. Maximum of 10 people per site.
