Well kept campground provided us an excellent place to watch the 2024 solar eclipse, see birds and other wildlife, and walk along the lake.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. The sites are spread out quite well, and you have some room between campsites. Its mostly level and easy to set up and hook up. The roads are all paved. There are lots of hiking and some biking trails at the park. Good fishing at the spillway and on the river below the dam. They don't have sewer hooks ups, but a two lane dump station that is well maintained.

From Piedmont, MO, follow state highway HH for 6 mi. Campground will be located just below Clearwater Lake Dam. Follow signs into campground.
