This is a very nice and clean campground. The sites were fairly level and the paved trails were great. One deer crossed our path. Spot 39A had a full lake view from our slide out. The only negative is they don’t sell firewood, which most don’t, but having no cell service made it difficult to know where to get some.

It's is a very nice, quiet, and the people that work at the park are very friendly and helpful.

Great weekend. Grass was tall at campsite. Others were not. Maybe because of recent rains. Otherwise great. Going back next month.

The campground itself is awesome. Large sites with room between you and your neighbors. Bathrooms and dump station in good shape. Everything in working order. Lots of hiking and biking trails. Cell service is really bad - if you walk up by the spillway you can maybe get some reception. The only bad part of our trip was three huge thunderstorms that really cut down on our outside time - but that is no fault of the campground.

Truly the only thing that this park lacks is internet connectivity. I'm not sure that's a bad thing tho. Absolutely love this park, trails, big sites, and a campstore nearby. This has become an every year stop!

Stayed for six days while hunting turkeys and done some fishing for crappie.Fishing was just starting to get good. Area was well kept and close to town.
