About River Road Park

Set on the banks of a calming river, just below the entertaining Clearwater Lake lies River Road Park, known as a jolly ol' place to camp. The beautiful area is enhanced each spring by flowering shrubs and trees like the redbud, hawthorn, dogwood and wild plum. And bald eagles stay year-round and are known to nest near the lake.

Excellent camping experience! Weather was perfect, campgrounds clean & park was really quiet for as full as it was.
The walking/biking trail was repaved so a much smoother ride.
Fishing was decent & our youngest grandson really enjoyed that, he caught the most fish lol.
I also appreciate the fact that we can now get some cell phone service. I love leaving technology behind but also like to check in with family.
We’ve been camping here for over 35 years & it’s still my favorite park.
