River Road Park

The campsite has a wonderful view of the river and is right across from the bike/hike trail. Only negative is very limited cell service.

The people at the campsite next to us were loud all night and took over half our camp site . Set up volleyball net hit my car with the ball. We ended up leaving day early because of all this . We weren’t getting any sleep .

We stay at River Rd., Park quite a bit and it’s always kept up very nice. Bathrooms are clean. Sites are kept very nice. Great place for water skiing, tubing, and swimming. There is a convenience store/bait shop and a restaurant right across the street from the campground. Also close to town and other amenities.

The campsites are very close together, and needed to be mowed.

No cell service, and no trash cans at bathhouse. Everything else was nice. Big camping area. Plenty of room for playing outdoor games.

Great trip - good site with water & electric. Rained, but no flooding. Love the trail for hiking & biking!!

Our stay was great! It’s just disappointing to have the nicer spots reserved by people that don’t even show up and you can’t take their spot after at least 24 hours of them not showing up. There were a lot of spots like this over memorial weekend. Y'all can do better! Give others a chance.

Gate attendant was very accommodating and friendly. Well kept campground.

Great place

The only issue I have is the locals come and use the facility like a city park, if you want to fish at the spillway usually locals are up there fishing all day making it impossible to fish and leave trash. I believe the paying customer should have rights over the facility than locals coming in to use it and not paying. They use the trash dumpsters, shower houses and fish all along the river blocking all the access to the customers who want to fish from the bank.
