Great place to camp, weather you take a whole group of kids or if you just want to sit an relax this is the camp ground is for you, there is a great playground for children, you can sit by the lake an fish, biking an hiking trails, staff is friendly, if you need something there is a store within walking distance, where they have firewood to pancake syrup, lol this campground is always clean, we come here a lot just to relax.

It would’ve been a better experience if there was a shower house on that side. In order to take a shower you have to load up and go across the dam. If not a shower house, full hookups so you could shower in your camper.

I don’t like this place, no sewer hook up is so primitive and stupid. Not again, the bathrooms and shower houses were so nasty. Yes I said houses because we went to several and they were all nasty.

Live this campground! Swimming (5 minutes away at Piedmont Park), fishing, kayaking (if you don’t have your own try Piedmont Cafe), bike riding (around the campground and a bike path) walking and relax all great. Most sites are shaded. Hosts are great, bathrooms clean. Cleaning lady also scoops fire pits out
