This was our first trip in our camper. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend this campsite. As soon as I got a signal, we reserved our next trip and got the last spot!! Book early, especially on holidays! There's a fantastic meat market about 4 mi down the road if you need some good meat to grill. Happy camping!!

Loop A was very nice. We also enjoyed the paved walking/biking trail. The water was high but the sites didn't flood. It was nice to see that some of the sites were raised so the picnic tables were level. Heated shower houses definitely surprised me. They were always clean. Our group had a great time gathering at River Road Park campground.

Wonderful waterfront site (level). Nice firepit overlooking the water. Clean toilet houses and shower house. Firewood available just about 1/4 mi away. Town about 6 mi. Really a nice place.

The campground and walking/biking trails were well maintained, and all sites have great views of the river.

With all that is going on with this so called COVID Pandemic, it is a great place to for all of that and have a great "Nomal" getaway. Water was a bit high yet, but still worth the peacefulness. We will back back several time this year and much in the future ! Mr and Mrs Williams
