We enjoy Nemo Landing for the beautiful lake views, fishing and when we’re not cooking at the site, local (not chain restaurants) restaurant options. Level spots with fire pit, picnic table, electric and did I mention the views. Check their website for water, pull through, etc options. Very well maintained.

I think this is one of the best spots good access to water for fishing and watching the sun set it amazing. I will say it will be a lot of sun during summer so choose at your own risk but the view of the sunrise and set makes up for it.

Bathrooms closed for maintenance wasn't convenient. I understand sometimes things happen. Also not up to the past cleaning standards. Park attendant very nice and polite.

We enjoyed the location and size of the park. We had water and 50 amp electric and all worked as it should. Restrooms were clean.

The manager this past summer was very helpful and attentive in solving issues. Nemo is one of the best all around campsites!!

From Springfield, MO, take US 65 north past Louisburg, MO, to NN Highway.
Follow NN Highway south to Nemo, MO. Turn south at the 4-way stop and find the entrance to Nemo Landing on the left side of the highway.
Nemo Landing is accessible via US 65, which is approximately 15 miles to the west, and NN Highway, which leads directly to the campground.
Elevation: 276 feet
2.8 mi drive to downtown Pittsburg (about 4 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- During the off-season, there is a limited camping season that only has electricity available. $10 per night, Dates: March 15 - April 15, October 1 - November 30.
- All reservations must be made through the Recreation.gov website or app. Search for Recreation.gov on the Apple Store or Play Store to download the app for free. Reservations can also be made by calling the Recreation.gov reservation line at (877) 444-6777.
- There is no first-come-first-serve window. All reservations can be made from the current day up to six months in advance. Campers are still limited to camping 14 consecutive days at a campground.
- Reservation tags will no longer be posted. With current day reservations available, it is the camper’s responsibility to check if a campsite has been reserved.
- Cash and checks will no longer be accepted. Recreation.gov and their reservation line will take credit and debit cards.
- Additional fees will be charged for additional camping units.
- Lifejackets only work if you wear them!
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
