Wonderful place. Very closeto the main restrooms but maybe to close. In the evening there was a sewage smell that lasted a few hours. Next trip we have reserved a spot further away.

Clean restrooms. Felt safe. Park ranger drive through frequently. No cell service. Lots of space between sites.

Campground was very wooded, a lot of shade. Beach and park area are very nice. Sites are weird! We were in site 44. It said max trailer length 34', but my car couldn't even fit on the pad too! Definitely not the truck we pulled the camper with. Several sites were like this and there were trucks sticking out in the middle of the road all along our side of the campground. The pad across the road from us had a very small flat area to park, maybe the size of a car and then there was a significant slope the rest of the driveway. Make sure to check your sites! But otherwise, it was a really nice campground. It was a sold out weekend and still very quite and peaceful.

I've stayed in many Army Corp ran parks that were wonderful but Aunt's Creek disappointed. The grass was ridiculously long. There are not enough bathroom/ shower facilities to accommodate the number of camp sites. There are 2 male and 2 female showers. Best time to shower is 11 pm or later. There was a male park attendant that was not real friendly. Since we tent camped after swimming my teenage daughter asked if we could run by the bathrooms to change real quick. Just as she got out of the car and headed to the bathroom the male attendant came out of the men's bathroom and told her she couldn't go in the bathroom she'd have to wait because he's getting ready to clean it. He hadn't even started it yet and all she wanted to do was change but was turned away. I've also never seen flies as bad as this place. Of course during the summer you battle flies! Our campsite was swarmed with flies like I've never experienced. We definitely will not be back. We'll stick to the parks we know are maintained better with friendlier park hosts.
