What Guests Are Saying
Pulltite Campground offers a beautiful, scenic location with well-maintained sites and friendly staff, making it a favorite among campers. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground host and the cleanliness of facilities, despite some issues like locked bathrooms and ongoing construction from last year's flood. While some campers noted the need for updates and improvements, the overall experience is positive, with plans for return visits.

The campsite and restroom/shower facilities are very nice, but the raccoon infestation is horrible. They were everywhere around our campsites, came and tried to get in coolers and bags while we were sitting around as soon as it was dusk, sometimes even during the day. We were very careful not leave food items around to attract them. Very frightening for younger kids since they do not seemed to be scared off easily . We kept all coolers and bags in cars and trucks at night because they are able to open coolers, even the yeti latch ones. I feel the parks department should do something to manage the population a bit.

We had a beautiful Riverside camp spot in an exceptionally beautiful campground. However, even in the middle of the week in early june, we were next to several very noisy large groups. They consistently stayed up past midnight and had no regard for those around them. I wish the park would put more efforts in to enforcing the quiet hours at this campground. Some people are just completely oblivious to others.

Even numbered sites are on the river side of the road and have less space than the odd numbered sites. Even thought I like being close to the water, when going back I am going to seek an odd numbered site because the distance btw the edge of road and where you place your tent is only 20 feet or so. I think this is dangerously close and unsafe as people do come and go at all hours of the night and morning.
Also plan to buy firewood locally. The area is totally picked over from campers seeking free firewood on the ground. Keep an eye on your firewood. Some of ours vanished. We picked some up and put it on our kayaks as we floated the last two miles and for that reason the second night we had plenty.
