Campsite has nice amenities. The racoons are very progressive here, so make sure you secure (lock) the coolers and all food is put away. Do not leave anything out!

We had a family with children of varying ages for 4th of July. Of course the 15 year old girls didn’t want to sleep with the 19 and 22 year old boys and the 19 year old boy didn’t want to sleep with the 22 year old and his female friend. We were on a very large site. I stopped to let the camp host know we were going to have more tents than anticipated and I was told the site was huge and so there was no problem. She was correct, because with 3 regular tents and a pup tent there was still plenty of room for the kids to play catch within our campsite. We floated the day after arrival and came back to a citation/warning at our site and an envelope wanting us to rent an additional site, which was ridiculous due to the size of the site we were on. The host said she told them that I had stopped and discussed everything with her. Also, the raccoons at this campground are out of control and very bold. At night you cannot leave anything out or they will take it…food, silverware, or anything else they can carry!! They will take it with you sitting right there too.

The campsite and restroom/shower facilities are very nice, but the raccoon infestation is horrible. They were everywhere around our campsites, came and tried to get in coolers and bags while we were sitting around as soon as it was dusk, sometimes even during the day. We were very careful not leave food items around to attract them. Very frightening for younger kids since they do not seemed to be scared off easily . We kept all coolers and bags in cars and trucks at night because they are able to open coolers, even the yeti latch ones. I feel the parks department should do something to manage the population a bit.

Pulltite Campground is located at the end of EE Highway. From Salem, Missouri, take Highway 19 south for 32 mi and turn right onto EE.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
