The bathrooms were locked up, so I could not stay there. There was a sign on one bathroom (the first) saying that that there was a portable bathroom at the beginning of the campground. But, there was nothing. No one was around. So, I left and fortunately found another place to camp.

Everything was very neat and clean, green and lush. The stars at night were amazing and it was very quiet and peaceful. The staff and camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Great to have a store there too, with lots of essentials. Love it! ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful campground nestled in the woods right along the river banks of the Current River. Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. There is an outfitter located at the campground to rent rafts/kayaks and it is also a small general store that sells wood, ice and other essentials. This is my go to and FAVORITE campground along the Current River.

Site #4 was perfect for us; we put in our kayaks upriver and were able to carry them the ~100 ft to our cars. It was such a hassle-free way to experience the Current River.
Beware: the camp store in the Current River Canoe Rental building closes at 6pm, so if you're coming in late, be sure to pick up some firewood on your way in (following firewood best practices, obvs), though I didn't have many issues collecting our own firewood, which is permitted on National River/Forest land.

Lovely campground! Campsite 44 was really the best. Great river access. And lovely that the canoe outfitter is right there on site! I hope to return. <3

The facilities and staff were so so nice! The only problem is that the camp site is over ran with Raccoons. They were coming up to the picnic tables with us sitting right there.

Getting There
Pulltite Campground is located at the end of EE Highway. From Salem, Missouri, take Highway 19 south for 32 mi and turn right onto EE.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
