Generators, they love their generators there. All day and most of the night. New generators, old generators, junk generators. The add said “Generator Free”, but not even close to that. The camp host didn’t care either.
Absolute beautiful campground though. Our campsite was incredible right on an absolute beautiful river. It was what you think of when camping in a National Park. We have camped in over 30 through this country, and this was one of the most beautiful, but the generators…….did I mention those? Very loud, many of them, all day and most of the night.

Campsite was nice, right by our entry point to the river. Campsite was quiet & clean, with respectful neighbors. Pet & family friendly! Make sure you put all your stuff up in your car & keep your tent zipped up all the way. There’s raccoons at night. But other than that, it was an amazing experience. The float was beautiful. The blue spring was absolutely amazing first thing in the morning. Like more beautiful than any Pinterest post. Caves all along the side of the float. Our raft was nice and clean. Everyone was super friendly. Will be going back again soon!! & yearly from here on out!!

The site I was at, site 8, was excellent. My son and I went during the week (M,T,W) and it was very peaceful. A few people the first night but when we went kayaking we were alone on the river all day.
There is zero cellphone reception but you can get signal on the guest wifi by the rest rooms. The rest rooms and showers were what you expect. Basic but surprisingly very clean.
The store they have on location has everything you might need. Waterproof bag, ice, beer, firewood etc.
Everyone employee I came across was very nice and helpful. The site manager drivers around before quiet time and introduced himself to everyone. I thought that was a nice touch.
Literally the only down side to this place is the raccoons. They are everywhere. While the campground didn’t require anything special for food storage I highly recommend keeping anything food related, or with a smell, in your vehicle. Those raccoons will get into any cooler you have and will get into any tent you put up.
All in all it is a fantastic place and I highly recommend.
(BTW the closest town with a Walmart is about 30 minutes from the campground. Unless you love driving make sure you got what you need).

I used to camp at Pulltite all the time as a kid. Went back recently with my kids and it really brought back memories, along with getting to make new memories with my kids. Really enjoy this place.

Family friendly campgrounds right one the Current River. There is a small store with camp essentials where you can also rent kayaks/canoes/rafts for a float trip. The showers and restrooms are nice and clean. Overall it’s always a great time camping at Pulltite.
