Area outfitters are pretty accommodating with good communication The ranger presented an informative program in the evening. Site ambassador had names and reserved dates on all sites when we arrived. Showers and facilities were in pretty good shape. Needed and welcomed after a couple of days on the river . Waterside campsite was clean with picnic table, cookable fire pit, water valve within 60 yards and Shepard's hook for lantern or trashbag use it Racoons are VERY pesky lock and hang away everything when not in use.

I have been camping at pull tight Spring campground since I was a year old which would make 55 years this year. It is an ever changing and beautiful stretch of the current river and the view of the bluffs across from the campground as well as the beautiful pull tight Spring is hard to match.

Pulltite Campground is a great base for floating in the upper sections of Current River. We floated from Baptist Camp down to Round Spring. The top section has much more solitude and is my favorite place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The Campground is well maintained and the natural cooling effect of the river make it a Great place to spend some summertime.

Group Site 3 is fantastic for larger groups. Decent grass coverage, lots of shade, secluded from other sites, water access.
