Bass River Resort is praised for its beautiful outdoor setting, cleanliness, and friendly staff, making it a great destination for relaxation and fun activities like floating and horseback riding. Guests enjoyed the cozy cabins and appreciated the air conditioning, although they noted the need to bring linens and some supplies. Well now, I did a lot of growing up at that place!! In that area, on that river, and with those people.

When I first started going there it was a very desirable 🏞️place to go and one of the top ones to go to for that time. (Early '70s)
DAVES NOT HERE, MAN ‼️✌🏻 HE WAS THE WHOLE TIME ‼️ And he did " have the stuff" man ‼️

I hope you enjoy the review!!! So roll your old happy ass into Bass River Resort,

And tell Ol' bear Bass,
To make a long story short, if you like the outdoor wilderness, wet and dry type activities, Incorporated with star filled sky's, sound of "Cool s soothing running water, & the croak of the old so familiar bullfrog, that was only just three hops in front of me as I was chasing him down.

So, needless to say , it was and is a place that I loved and proudly call home and we all know there is no place like home!! I am highly suggesting to at least visit once, You'll experience it for your self, & it will be me reading your 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (10) star recommendation here next review. I believe it is time for the star rating system to raise it to 10 Stars for the businesses that deserve it, and this is one of them that truly does!! anywhere anytime. Look for my phone call, BEAR ‼️

This wasn't REALLY long. ....

We’ve stayed here a lot when my brother had his camper and this was our first time staying in a Deluxe cozy cabin. Very nice and clean. When we arrived the a/c was on and felt amazing on these hot days! Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed! Very clean resort! We floated on a Tuesday which was so relaxing and peaceful!! We will definitely be booking again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed the weekend here when we went to The Fugitive beach (it's an hour away). We rented the cozy cabins and it was cozy for sure. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. No linens are provided. You need to bring your own towels and don't forget hand soap, we did. There is a sink and a 2 burner stove. They have a picnic table and small grill but bring your own if you can. They have horse back riding, canoe trips and a small store, it's expensive. We paid $30.00 for some lunch meat and cheese. This is to be expected in a resort. All in all we had a good time and the beds weren't bad. We weren't there to sleep anyway.

We stayed in Cozy Deluxe Cabin C. It was EXTREMELY clean and well-designed. I recommend adding the linen service to your booking so you don't have to deal with packing sheets and towels. We had great interactions with all the staff. Our float was super fun. I like that it's such a quick (about 1.75 hrs) drive from south city St. Louis. I also loved that I was able to rent a golf cart, which we didn't need but was just fun.

We camped here with our camper. Our campsite was what I would call typical with some gravel and grass. Sites are not roomy at all from side to side as we were pretty much on top of the other campers but we camped with a few other people and we butted up to the corral area and had great space behind our sites we shared. The river is nice although not very deep for older kids. The campsites were clean and the staff were friendly. My reason for giving it a lower rating is the price. We paid 300$ for four people to camp for three nights. That’s pretty high. We were also upset to find out once we arrived that the pool is not complimentary to the campers. You have to pay extra to use the pool. It is an amenity only for cabins. My sister asked why the high fees for staying if things like the pool weren’t included and they said all of our other amenities. We asked like the creek? I didn’t know of anything else that was “free”. We had to pay an extra 150$ on top of our campsite fee for our two kids who they charged us adult prices as their age is over 12. Just feel like for the prices you shouldn’t have other charges on top of that for amenities.
