Cobblestone Lodge

I brought my kids, grandkids, and great grandkids for a family get together. We thourally enjoyed everything especially the activities, tournaments, meeting other families, and hanging out at the lodge. I was there 35 years ago and wished I'd come back sooner. We are already talking about coming back next year.

We stayed for a couple nights in Cabin 16A. The perks of staying here is the great pool, and the access to a lovely section of the river.

We opted to do our own meals. On the first morning I asked the front desk if there were any ala carte options I could purchase from the breakfast service. The person behind the counter was so confused and helpless, she had no idea how to even answer the question.

I asked her if there was someone else I could talk too, and she said, “I don’t want to go ask, it’s scary back there”. It was really odd. She offered us the option of buying in to Lunch or Dinner service, but she couldn’t tell me why breakfast was off limits or why it was “scary”.

Overall, cool spot. Great pool and lovely access to the river. Not cheap for what ya get in the room though. Would have been really nice to have just one more sink or a some sort of living room space. 16A felt tight for the price.

But everything was clean and functional. If you got kids that love being in the water, this is worth checking out. Service is just a little.. quirky, let’s say.

Since taking over ownership, Jean and Austin have done so much to make a perfect little place even more perfect. The cabins are clean and comfortable and the food and salad bar were delicious. Daily crafts and events make this place so fun for kids. Very relaxing for the whole family.

They treat you like home. We were late returning from a float trip, and they still provided dinner for us. Cobblestone is so much fun for adults and kids. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and can't wait to go again.

If your looking for maybe a quick weekend get away or a place to spend a few days to unplug from the world, this is the place. But, you have to book well in advance. This place is popular. Kids just💗 this place! You'll hardly see a kid on a device while they're here. So many activities going on to keep everyone occupied from crafts, shuffle board, to the float trips just to name a few.
