Very nice and quiet place. The only thing I can even complain about is the site claims that it's riverfront but you can't see the river. But still 5 star. It's just a few minutes from town and alot of cool places to visit.

Beautiful park and the campsites are nice! Located next to the river. Beware of lots of flies and bees in the camp area and the bathrooms/showers could use a good scrubbing but other than that it was great! Very quiet.

went hiking with a friend, and found the trail heads hard to find for the connectors to the 'between the rivers' trail. We got lost as we didn't find the trail head, and the paths were not easily visible. Hiking back the second day, where we stopped in Chilton creek overnight, we skipped the (Spring Valley trail? not sure the name, but it was the northernmost one nearby the CCC museum), and went through Chubb Hollow instead, which was much more navigable. I had a good time regardless of somewhat gross bathrooms and unclear trails!

We love this place! It’s quiet, clean, and beautiful this time of year (September - after Labor Day).
A day spent kayaking on the Current River makes it a perfect getaway!

Access to the water was perfect to get off the float trip at camp. Perfect for you get kids to be able to play in the water. Campground was clean and quiet, close to the bathroom. Love this spot and look forward to many more adventures here.

Beautiful camping area.
Close to river & Big Springs.
It was not mowed or weedeated.
I thought that was sad , especially for Holiday weekend!

I like how there's a lower price for campers that don't need electricity or water. My van has solar, so an electrical hookup isn't necessary. The bugs were a bit thick the night I stayed. The showers were nice, but it'd be helpful to have more shelving to put clothes, soap, shampoo, razor, etc. Thanks for all that everyone does at Big Spring.
