Beautiful location, private site and all amenities one needs. Hoping to return again. Would be nice if the campground was available during the winter even if no water or sewer were available.

Had a wonderful time. Other than being windy the weather was perfect. Everything was clean and in working order.Nice warm shower but it could really use a new paint job.

The lower campground we stayed at was laid out very well. Space between camps so you were not awning to awning. Refreshing for a state park campsite. Facilities were clean ,hot showers. Lots to do around the area. Good stay. Price was very fair. Would do it again for sure

Nice family type campground, better in the summer where you could go to the beach.

The best corps park anywhere. Full hookups, 50-amp service, spacious sites, excellent restrooms. Though you're up from the water, it's a nice view and just a short walk away. They have a cart/hiking/biking paved trail that runs from one park to three or four of the others, along the lake. We stayed in the "Upper" park in a 43 ft 5th wheel w/5 slide outs. Verizon coverage was great even though we didn't have but 2 bars. We stayed at sight 45 near the hot showers. The park staff were great. Hospitable, friendly, gracious, helpful. We couldn't possibly say enough good things about them.

It’s a very quiet campground with a steep entrance and exit. There are many shaded sites with nice tables and fire pits. The location is close to several marinas if you want to spend a day on the lake. When we were there, the Greenville Days event was in progress and we chose to go there for a day. We rode the stage coach, browsed the craft tents, listened to nice blue grass music and ate some delicious BBQ.
