We had an amazing time. Park staff was helpful and kind. The Army Corps of Engineers have done a wonderful job routing the water so, when we had heavy rain fall, the lake didn't rise or affect our campground. Love this place.

First time at People’s Creek and we are already planning another trip back. As soon as you pull into the view of the lake is amazing. There is a good size sandy beach and roped off area for swimming, a boat area, and a dock you can fish off of. Make sure you have a canopy or some sort of shade to use at beach, lots of sun screen, a blanket or chairs to sit in, shoes to walk across sand it is very hot. We were able to check in early, and the staff member who helped us was so friendly. We booked sites 4 and 6, both of them had so much shade it made the hot sun easier to handle. Our family is planning another trip in July for 5 days, hopefully. The only thing we wish we had at our site was sewer hook up. That would have made things so much easier. Also at the dump station there is no hook up for a hose so that you can flush water up into your black tank to flush it good. But we managed with what we had. Overall a great place to spend with your family, relaxing and making memories.

Great as usual. This time we stayed in site 28 and it was wonderful. Right on the water with or for facing it. Definitely will be trying to get this site again.

I love our State Parks, and I love People’s Creek campground it is relaxing and beautiful and the sites are not right on top of each other. A great way to spend the weekend.
I always pick up trash, and leave my sites better than I find them wherever I go.
The only complaint, which is not huge, but there was more trash around that I have ever seen there.
So disappointing to see that people can be so thoughtless, and have such little disregard for our Children’s Planet.
