This was the upper camp ground, had no idea the spots I picked were right next to the HWY. For such a small area traffic was busy day and night. As soon as I pulled in I was ambushed by the camp host who demanded my park access pass. I was not even parked in my spot completely and all she kept saying was to show her my access pass. She was extremely rude and she did the same to my friends in the adjacent spot beating on their RV door as soon as they parked. She’s also an Army Corps employee and she thinks she runs the place. There was no warm welcome and placed a taste of disgust in my mouth right away. Also my wife later that night walked to the restroom and it was not stocked with toilet paper so apparently the camp host doesn’t do her job either. Rudest host I’ve ever encountered.
I would stay again but make sure it’s in the lower campground by lake and away from this camp host bossy bimbo. Sad example of a Corps employee camp host.

Great Lake views on you walk with nice paved trails. A bit tight in some spots if you have a longer trailer.

By far the best overall Corps facility I’ve visited. Walking trails, harbor, & boat ramp first class. Bathhouse clean, well equipped, and all functions in working order. A pleasant place to visit with an excellent host & hostess.

Didn't have trash bin but other than that was very nice. Full hookup for price can't beat it.

The campground was very nice. It was late in the season so there were very few people around. Large private sites on level pavement for easy setup of our camper. I had wished for a hiking trail.
