New camp site concrete pads are very nice but who ever latex out the utility hookups must have never been camping. Bring extra dump hoses, water hoses and electrical cord because some connections are placed far away from camper pad. Our sewer access port was 27 feet from our trailer connection. On one site the sewer connection was even higher than the pad level.

Our 3 night stay was great. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly, friendly staff and having a sewer at each site is a bonus.
Close enough to Poplar Bluff for food/fuel.

Reserved S02 for a children’s party. Everything went as planned. Fun playground, water and electric hookups worked just fine. We did notice that they didn’t actually hang a sign or any notice that the pavilion had been reserved but it wasn’t a problem. Only actual complaint was the very large amount of garbage, which we were very much aware of as we follow the scout code and leave it better than we found it. We spent quite a while cleaning up the leftovers of a water balloon fight.
If a clean location matters to you, I recommend a different location or arriving early to clean up. Otherwise it really is a great spot.

Campsite 32 - Sites were a bit close and the concrete pad was covered in mud/rocks upon arrival. Two rains resulted in more mud/rocks deposited on the concrete and all over my camping equipment (power cord, sewer line, water line, tires, wheel chocks and large camping mat.
