While checking in the lady we dealt with was absolutely wonderful so very kind. She set us up with the perfect camping spot, we had a great time in our new to us motorhome.

Nice, quiet, and we always love our neighbors! Not too close and not too far away! I just miss the natural milkweed areas that used to exist between our favorite campgrounds.

The campground is nice looking and has fill hookups including sewer, but I haven't found a level pad yet even though it has been recently refurbished. The first spot we tried we couldn't get out 25' trailer even close to level from to back. And those lights on the bathhouses! Whose idea was it to install such harsh lights that shine out instead of down and light up the entire campground? Sure ruined any chance of stargazing. All in all I would be looking for a more camper friendly campground.

This park has been updated with new concrete pads, fire pits, all sewer along with the already existing water and electric. It’s a nice park, but it would be even nicer if the companies that were being paid to upkeep the park, would actually do their job. Grass was in desperate need of mowing and my fire pit was full of so much trash that I had to call the office to make them aware, and they sent someone down to clean it. I would’ve cleaned it out myself, with gloves, but they offered to take care of it. I wish people would realize that some people like to cook over those fire pits. That’s why they have a grate for cooking on them. Would you like someone to cook your food over trash and cigarette butts? Even if you didn’t do that, kids love to do s’mores over the fire… I ran into this issue two weekends in a row, at different sites. No one should have to clean out the pits, unless they are shoveling the excessive ashes out.
Someone must’ve ran over the cap for the water, shut off valve, next to our site, and failed to report it, because the campground host didn’t know it had happened until we said something. That hole was big enough for a small child to fall in. And if an adult had stepped in it, they would have been very, very sore, if not injured!

We enjoyed our stay at this campsite. Very restful and quiet, except some nearby campers got a little loud and used offensive
language as the day progressed into the evening. I suppose they were drinking which, by itself, doesn't bother me. We chose a campsite near the playground because we had a 5 year old with us, but next time will chose one a little father away from the playground so we won't be so near to other campers. We were in site 91 which is on the inside of a loop so naturally the campers were closer together. It was our first time with our new camping trailer so we didn't really know what we were getting into. But all in all, the experience was a good one and we can't wait to go back!

Redman Creek is always clean and the park attendant is friendly and courteous. I pulled in early that morning before the park attendant had opened up and that afternoon she brought my placard for my vehicle and my post Saved me the trip up there. Since I was setting up by myself, I am very grateful.
