The campground itself is very nice and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. My complaint is that the power was out for 4 of the days we stayed there, it was a planned outage and I got an email about it the night before I arrived. They refunded me $20 (total) for the power being out but if I wanted to camp without power I would have stayed on the lake somewhere free or cheaper. The staff on site was very helpful and tried to do everything they could to help everyone out, but they are mostly volunteers. The manager (Pam I think) was very helpful and friendly. Overall it’s a great place to stay, we just happened to go at a bad time.

We love the variety of activities for our family - the playgrounds, nature path, fishing ponds! We love the nearby beach and close access to Fort Peck to take in a show!

The fires in Canada made the air quality in the campgrounds dangerous. Should have been a ban on campfires during that time.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We know you couldn’t help the electrical problems. We had fun anyways.
Ours kids came from Florida. I was hoping we could get in the interpreter center. I called but no answer. I thought they could of at least called me back, but no!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed the electric was off two days instead of one. And unfortunately the dump station was inoperable both days. And the power was turned off one hour earlier than announced. In hindsight. I would have made other plans.
