Robidoux RV Park

Quiet, quaint park with nice pull thru sites for a one night stop. I would definitely come back if traversing thru the area. The price can't be beat!

The campground is set up odd though. You will pull in and have no idea where to go (no signage). Keep going straight to the top of the hill to the office.

The roads are narrow and the city could probably add some asphalt where you see RV tracks in the grass on some of the turns. Some tree trimming would be nice too to avoid scraping branches.

The interior sites around the circle are PULL-IN (sites 13-15, 18, 22-23). Travel trailers will pull in to have the hookups on the correct side but then drive their truck thru the grass. I don't understand why the park was built like this (hookups on the wrong side). The interior loop sites are sloped down at the entry, so made for smaller rigs or small class Bs and Cs.

Big rigs beware:
Sites 1-12 are excellent, as well as 19-20. All other pulls thrus have an awful exit / over 90 degree turn. All other pull thrus should be turned to the other direction but can't because of the odd way the roads were set up.

Camp Host, John was phenomenal! Attentive to all of our needs and absolutely friendly. I’ve never had a host such as John. Robidoux RV Park is lucky to have him. The campsite was very spacious with a great back drop of the Scottsbluff National Monument. Park is extremely clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our time. We traveled from California to visit family. Would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Excellent city park, very welcoming. It has level concrete pads, and our space had excellent shade. We were there during the Antique Car Show, Oregon Trail Days, and the 4th of July, and it's super close to Scottbluff National Monument and other historic pioneer sites in the western US, so its location is excellent. They should remodel the restrooms; they were clean, but they need updating. The difference between this park and others we've been to is its manager, John. From morning until night, you hear his cart making rounds, and the last thing you hear at night is his final round. He's attentive, helpful, and becomes a support system while you're there. I must say that more than a manager, he became a friend who stopped by every day to check on us. We've been going full-time for four years, and often, the difference between having a good time, thinking about returning, or recommending the place at an RV park is the staff's service, and here we give them 5 stars plus. Thank you, John. We'll miss you.

Welcoming park. We had a great stay over the 4th of July. Truck show, fireworks 3 days straight, races, music, beautiful hikes around the bluff , chimney rock, and wildcat, John our camp host was amazing. I would give suggestions for the park. Clean up the bushes around the campsites. They are overgrown, lots of prickling bushes, uneven spots, we stayed in site 29 and the trees around us were hanging and need trimming. A great open spot though.

The sites are spaced out nicely and there is plenty of room for dog walking and kids playing frisbee or softball or catch or just about anything. The street lights shining into the camper is annoying and the sun rising on the wrong side of the camper was not enjoyable and it's nothing that a canopy can stop. Had we noticed, we would have backed up about 12 ft and been in the shade but we were in site 32 which has two spots back to back but still provides plenty of room. Very close to Scotts Bluff. That is why we chose this campground. The tenant is very accommodating and makes his rounds regularly and is very helpful and we were thankful for that. There is a park right by the campground. This campground is run by the city and at the time of our booking was $50 a night. Full hookups. Level sites. Showers aren't the best but they're clean. Wi-Fi is horrible but cell service is excellent.
