Great camping park! Showers/bathroom was clean and tidy every day we were there (8 days). Park was mowed once during that time. The park shelter was clean and tidy as well!

Area had unusually HOT weather during our stay, so we were essentially stuck in our trailer, temps in the 110 +/- degree area, but we still enjoyed the area. Grounds and facilities were taken care of-it would have been nice that the grass was mowed before stay instead of the day we left. Trees were trimmed allowing for safe maneuvering of tall trailers, not always the case. Not much to do in the area, but definitely a nice place to camp for a few days. A combination of primitive, electric only, and electric/water sites. Those sites without water could easily load up their fresh water tanks from several spigots throughout the park. Would definitely return if ever in the area again.

I have stayed here twice when passing thru Nebraska it is a very nice and clean Army Corps campground, the lake is a big bonus.

This is a gorgeous, green oasis! I spent a night camping on a X country drive. Setting up camp at twilight and strolling around the well kept grounds was so restorative and peaceful. The morning birdsong was also a delight! Thank you Nebraska!

The campground was clean, spacious, and quiet. The sites were big and ours had great tree cover for the summer.
We visited the local library to get good internet and the staff were awesome and very friendly.

Loved it! So pretty and nice breeze! Grass is well maintained and so are the bathrooms! Will be back!

It was nice, however, scenically not very pretty (i.e. landscaping/mowing). Also, apparently the groundskeepers have never sprayed for bugs throughout the campgrounds, as the bug situation was, what I would consider to be, quite extreme and almost unbearable.

From U.S. Highway 80, take Highway 183 south to Alma, Nebraska. Turn left on South Street and travel 2.5 miles. The park entrance is on south side of the road.

General
- Only one camping unit allowed per site
- All campers must check in when arriving at park
- Maximum of six people allowed per site
- An attendant is on duty during the peak season of May through September
- Secure coolers and boating equipment each night to prevent thefts
- Off-road vehicles are not permitted
